If you’re a regular visitor to Christianity 101 online, you have no doubt noticed that things look a little different. That’s because we have upgraded our web site to the wonderful world of Web 2.0. What’s that, you say, and what does it have to do with you?
In a nutshell, Web 2.0 has everything to do with you, because it’s a virtual world where your voice is heard…and seen. For the last several years, the Christianity 101 online web site has been a billboard of sorts, telling you, our loyal reader (at least we hope you’re loyal) all about us and our books and TV show and DVDs and whatever else we happened to write or produce. True, we have always given you the chance to ask us questions, and we have tried to faithfully answer each one personally. But we do that by email, and email is so Web 1.0.

Web 2.0 is about you becoming part of the larger conversation. We will still answer your questions privately through email (or snail mail for those of you who live in Zortman, Montana), but we will also post the most interesting questions we receive (anomously, of course), along with our answers. Then you will be able to post your comments for everyone else to read. You may have a different take on a subject, or you may want to add to your own insights. Like we said, our new-look Web site is all about you…and us…growing together as followers of Jesus Christ.

Feel free to post your comments to this first entry on our new site. Every couple of days we will post a new message in this section. Sometimes we will comment on something of cultural interest, other times on some aspect of the Bible, and occasionally we will be really crazy and talk about something silly. You just never know, so check back with us as often as you can.

As always, thanks for reading or at least showing interest in our books and materials. We write for you, and we couldn’t do what we do without you!

Blessings,

Bruce & Stan

Thanks, Phalla. “Knowing the Bible 101″ has been the most popular book in our “Christianity 101″ series. We think it’s because people really do want to know more about the Bible so they can know more about God.

My husband and I just viewed your program for the first time and really enjoyed it! Our small group just started to read “Knowing the Bible 101″ and is trying to develop a study format centered around it. Do you have any suggestions on how we may combine the book and your tv program into a bible study for our group? Keep up the good work, and God bless you.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the “Christianity 101″ program. As for a way to combine the TV program with “Knowing the Bible 101,” there are some topics that overlap, but really, the book that ties into the TV show is “Knowing God 101.” The chapters match up almost exactly with the TV episodes.

Currently we are working on a study guide for the TV program episodes, but it’s going to take a few months to complete that. Meanwhile, you may check into “Knowing God 101.”

I so admire the lengths (and depths) that you go to in your efforts to make the Bible known to (and understood by) so many people. You are truly gifted of God and so many benefit from your obedience and dedication to doing the Will of God. We who read your books and comes to your website are so blessed for it.

I am presently reading Prophesy 101 and reading it to my fiancee who is a new Christian…we read it together and discuss it every night…my granddaughter also gets in the act and we all look so forward to our time together in the “Word” and hearing the way you present it.

Many, many blessings to you … my life is better because you are in it!

I would like to add that I love the format because I like to post and have others comment and add to the discussion…see what others think about what we are discussing and have questions about. Questions through email is great, and some need to be kept personal…but some questions I think are good to put “out there” and see how others feel about it. I’m sure many have curiosities about some of the same questions but afraid to ask…and get answers to their questions…encouraged to feel more confident to participate.
