You can’t praise God too much.

Did you know that God loves to be praised?  Maybe you have mistakenly assumed that He doesn’t need to hear us give Him the credit for the wonderful things that happen in our lives.  After all, He is the biggest, most powerful being in the universe.  Why would He care what we measly humans have to say?

Well, there are two reasons why we need to praise God.  First of all, He should be honored.  He is so magnificent that He deserves it.  Second of all, we need to thank Him constantly because it reminds us that what we have comes from Him.

Make sure that your prayers aren’t all about what you want God to give you.  Spend time praising Him for who He is and what He has already done for you.
