You will find more significance in the quality of the work you accomplish than in the quantity of the work you attempt.

We refuse to put any “Christian bumper stickers” on our cars. We aren’t ashamed to declare our love for the Lord, but we don’t want anyone to think less of God (or Christians) if they consider our driving habits to be less than exemplary. It all has to do with projecting the image that God deserves–excellence in everything.

If we belong to God, and if other people know it, they will be evaluating God by what they see in us. This means that we need to work diligently and excellently at our assigned tasks. Few things leave a worse impression than a job left unfinished or a job poorly done.

God intends for us to do good things at our jobs, in our communities, and for our families. But for these things to be truly good, they must be done well.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
