You do good works because it pleases God, not to please people. Although you hope that as you do good works, it will please people and lead them to Christ, as they see Christ in you. It's like when people give money to less fortunate and they take advantage... THEY will be held responsible for how they utilized the gift, not us...we just need to please God and do what He asks us to do...give and let it go...let God. Amen to that.
