I was the same way but have changed alot over the years. You just have to take it one step at a time and going to church by yourself is a great way to start. I also go by myself and it's very hard sometimes so I ask God to help me get there and he does every time. I have actually started being a lobby host at my church (which is hard for me to do) but I know that God is with me. He is helping me come out of my shyness day by day. All you have to do is ask.
