Hi sjackson

TOPIC: TITHES
In Malachi 3:10 the Bible said:

King James Bible
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Although Jesus didn't say it we know that God's house should be maintained so we ought to bring in tithes. What would happen if nobody brought in tithes?! Lol! It's necessary to pay your tithes, because it means you respect and love God's house, and in return he'll 'open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it,' I think that sounds awesome.

Hello,
I am a firm believer in giving God even more than the 10th whenever possible. Something has been nagging at me recently after completing the entire bible cover to cover & rereading the book of Acts I realized that Malachi 3:3 & Matthew 23:23 was directed to a Jewish audience & Jewish nation. The 15 chapter Acts deals with what the Apostles decided was priority commandments/instructions for the Gentile believers since some insisted they had to be circumcized & keep other Old Testament Laws. My question is why did the Apostle say in Acts 15:28
It seemed goo to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you (Gentile believers0 with anything beyond the following requirements: You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.
Then they sent this by letter to the Gentiles by Judas (not the one who betrayed our Lord & Silas) & later Paul & Barnabas.
TO sum up my question when was the law of Tithing introduced to the Gentiles and if Paul, Jesus and the Apostles did not command it how would they have known it proper for them to obey?

I never thought of it that way. I've often made statement like I believe in God. However, in my case I not only believe in God, but I believe God. So I guess I have to re-phase my statement.

Glad to hear it, Adam. Our attention span isn't all that long, so we do our best writing when it's short and sweet!
