Even when you don’t feel in control of your circumstances, you can be sure that God is.The story of Joseph is one of the most familiar stories in the Bible. The youngest of twelve brothers, Joseph started out as the favorite son in Israel and ended up a slave in Egypt. On the surface Joseph’s life was one of circumstances behond his control. His father favored him, his brothers hated him, Potiphar promoted him, and Potiphar’s wife lied about him.

In the end, however, God restored Joseph so he could rescue his family while preserving a nation. While it seemed that Joseph wasn’t in control of his destiny, there was no question that God was with him every step of the way, directing his ways, even when the days were dark.

When it seems like circumstances are outside your control and the world is against you, remain faithful to God, especially when the days are dark. God promises to restore you for your own good and His glory.

“As far as I am concerned, God turned into good what you meant for evil.”

Genesis 50:20

I just wanted to share the fact we can believe that God is in control of our lives. Five years ago I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer Stage IV (oat cell). The doctors gave me 2 years to live and I was at peace with that; I knew if I died I would be with the Lord and if God left me here on earth it would be to let others know of His power; His power over cancer and over my life. I had to reach the point where I (self) knew what a Win-Win situation I was facing. I could not lose; that is how God brought me through 17 chemo treatments every 21 days: today I am fine. I’ll turn 60 years old in October and they (the doctors) thought I would never see 57; so God has out healed them for an extra 3 years and I give Him the credit every day of my life. Just wanted you to share with others, God does not change. He is still very much in control. God Bless your ministry.
