One of the most amazing aspects of our relationship with God is that He has given each of us a personal message, and it’s one we can read anytime we want. We’re talking about the Bible, of course, the greatest book ever written because it is a book written by God.

Sometimes the Bible is called the Good Book. That’s okay, but you need to know that the Bible is much more than a book, and it is much more than good. Here’s the deal. The Bible contains the very words of God. He literally “breathed in” His words (that’s what inspired means) into the prophets, who then wrote them down for us (2 Peter 1:20-21). You don’t have to wonder about God. You can know about God because he has left you a message. When you read the Bible, it’s as if God is talking to you.
