It is possible for God to give you comfort without removing any of your difficulties.The easiest way to handle difficulties in your life is to change your perspective about them. Let’s face it. You are going to have problems. (We aren’t telling you anything that you don’t already know.) But you don’t have to look at them that way.

Realize that you will kknow God better only as your faith grows, and trusting Him in the midst of difficulties is one way to achieve that result. If God wanted to remove all of the problems from your life, He could. But don’t count on it. He allows you to go throug the struggles so you can experience His comfort, His faithfulness, and His presence.

It seems strange to say that you can find joy in the midst of your difficulties, but you can–because it is in problems that your faith brings you closer to God.

Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
