People are attracted to enthusiasm.

There are two kinds of enthusiastic people. The first kind gets on your nerves. This is the old school motivational speaker whose enthusiasm is generated night after night in a memorized speech. He might appear enthusiastic on the outside, but inside he’s just going through the motions.

The other kind of enthusiasm is genuine. It comes from inside and reflects a love for life and a love for people.

Christians should be the most enthusiastic people of all, because they have God in their lives. If you have doubts about this, just look at the word enthusiasm. It comes from two Greek words: en, meaning in; and theos, which is the word for God. In other words, enthusiasm means God in you. When God is in your life and you know He is working in everything you do, you can’t help but be enthusiastic.

It was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of them to begin helping.
