God always finishes what He starts.Here’s something we can be sure of. Once God starts a relationship with us, He’s going to finish it. God paid such a high price by sending His only Son to die for our sins that He’s not about to lose what rightfully belongs to Him. That’s exactly what happens when we accept God’s provision for our salvation–we belong to Christ like sheep belong to a shepherd.

Jesus, the Great Shepherd, said this about His sheep: “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. So no one can take them from me” (John 10:28-29).

Let the words fo Christ give you hope today and the assurance you need tomorrow that God is going to finish what He started.

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish.
