God Is Patient
God is willing to wait for you, but don’t wait too long for Him.Good things usually come when we are patient. Impatience usually leads to hasty decisions. And sometimes, when we are impatient, we miss out on the best possible result. God is never impatient because He always wants the best outcome. God sent Jesus into the world because He loved us. Because God has no other plan than Jesus to bring us into a right relationship with Him, He is willing to wait for us to respond.
God’s divine patience means that each person will have the opportunity to accept the free gift of salvation through Jesus. But God won’t wait forever. He has chosen the best possible moment to send Jesus back to Earth a second time. When that happens, time–like God’s patience–will finally run out.
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent.
2 Peter 3:9
god is patient
For clarification, for those who die before Christ returns to Earth a second time and who are non-believers, where do they ‘go’ and will they be a part of the rapture?
Thanks!
