No Worries

Worrying occurs when God is left out of the process.

Worry isn’t a verb; it’s an emotion. We know that, yet we act as if it isn’t true. We think that if we worry enough, our circumstances are going to change. We think we can worry things and events into existence. Doesn’t that sound silly? We ought to be embarrassed over how much faith we put in worry, and we need to wake up to the real problem. When we worry, we make a choice not to trust God. In effect, we tell God that He’s not interested in us or capable of helping us.

God has made it very clear that he is very interested in us and very capable of helping us. He may not help us instantly (which is part of the reason we skip past God and start to worry), but He will help us in His time. Give your cares to God, give your problems to God, and most of all, give your worries to God.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you.

1 Peter 5:7

i don’t know how to give my worries to Him. I said it, I wrote it on a “important message” pad and I think it. I am going through something serious right now and am very scared.
